My Magic

Since his wife left him, Francis’s life has been a disaster. He drowns his sorrows in alcohol whilst he survives working in a nightclub. He has a ten year old son that he loves but sorrow, guilt and alcohol do not let him show this. When he is about to lose him forever, he decides to try and save himself and save his relationship with his son by retur-ning to his former profession: magic. Francis was a great magician a long time ago. And now it seems as though his life could do with a little magic. Eric Khoo’s new film looks at love, life, redemption and above all magic. Inspired by Bosco Francis, main character in the film, one of the most important magicians in Singapore over the last de-cade, My Magic tells the story of a father and a son whose love is as deep as their pain.
