Education and violence against women

Violence against women is an unceasing problem. Not a week goes by when we do not see a domestic violence tragedy reported on the TV news or in the newspapers. Beyond our borders, in other countries such as Pakistan, where 80% of women suffer all types of brutal attacks, this is not even newsworthy.

It is essential to eradicate the origin of sexist and violent behaviour, making it fundamental to educate both boys and girls in equality. Only good training in equality from childhood will prevent this problem from continuing in future generations threatening all types of societies.
