Portrait of Donald Rumsfeld, Defense Secretary for several years under George W. Bush and major architect of the Iraq War. Rumsfeld talks to Errol Morris –The Fog of War (2003)– about his famous "snowflakes", the reports he wrote over more than fifty years for Congress, the Pentagon and the White House and which open a window onto the recent history of the United States; not necessarily as it really happened, but seen through Rumsfeld's eyes. The documentary takes us on an exciting voyage through the international politics of recent decades hand in hand with the man who was the youngest (with Gerard Ford in 1975-76) and oldest (with Bush from 2001-2006) Defense Secretary in the history of the country.
