Documentary filmed in Argentina by Lourdes Portillo and Susana Muñoz about the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, a group of women who have been meeting weekly since the late 70s in the Plaza de Mayo, Buenas Aires, to remember their sons and daughters “disappeared” during the dictatorship (1976-1983). Despite the intimidation meted out by the military Government, the mothers demonstrate in their quest to obtain justice, demanding their right to know what happened to their loved-ones. Also a portrayal of Argentina’s convulsive past and of a resistance movement, this documentary tells the tale of women who have set an example of in the field of human rights activism.
