This is the tale of fighting, tenacious, emotional, nostalgic, hopeful, brave, participatory women... Women capable of creating life in the most inhospitable of places. They are the Sahrawi women. Thirty-nine years ago, when they were exiled, the men left to fight in the war while the women raised “transitory cities”: the refugee camps. They organised their families, administration, homes, and invented a new everyday life to make it as bearable as possible to get through the wait and peaceful struggle of unknown outcome. These women are the grandmothers of the stars of the film, the new generations who have never seen the sea in their country.
