The film I Am Nojoom, Age 10 and Divorced (Yemen-France-United Arab Emirates, 2015), directed by Khadija Al-Salami, has been awarded with the Audience Prize to the Best Feature Film at the 14th San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival, that ends tonight. The film, distributed in Spain by Splendor Films, will open in Spain at September 9.

For years, the Human Rights Film Festival of San Sebastian has been in partnership with of the Human Rights Film Network (HRFN), an international network of human rights film festivals. Consisting of 38 active member festivals across every continent, the HRFN exchanges ideas on how to promote human rights films through festivals, broadcasting and educational programmes.

The 14th Human Rights Film Festival of San Sebastián will kick off on 15 April at the Victoria Eugenia Theater with the Danish film Land of Mine (2015), directed by Martin Zandvliet. The festival is organized by the Office of Human Rights of the city of San Sebastián in conjunction with Donostia Kultura.
