In the height of the economic crisis, an institution that represents a little-known American tradition emerges in Brooklyn: the Park Slope Food Coop, a cooperative supermarket whose 16,000 members, across every section of society, work three hours a month for the right to buy the best food in New York at remarkably low prices. The success of this co-op is bad news for capitalism and today's agricultural business, and a unique opportunity to try to change food production and distribution systems.
TALK: Philippe Baudry (La Louve, Paris), Jon Legorburu (Oarso Labore), David Garnatxo (Landare, Pamplona), Ixabel Cassan (Otsokop, Bayonne)
