There are people who lose credibility by making jokes all the time. One clear example of this case is Antton Telleria Lopetegi (Wisconsin, 1865). The point is that Antton doesn’t want to be credible. That’s what journalists are for (ha-ha!). What Antton does want is to be laughed at by the people around him. Because that gives him confidence. And confidence is a good thing. However, he doesn’t only get his confidence from laughter, but from money. That’s why he’s started to perform monologues: to earn a little confidence and a lot of money. Because if it’s a matter of living a poor life... that’s what journalists are for!
