"This film invites us to think about cows, to get closer to their world. It shows us both their beauty and the challenges of their everyday lives. From a realistic rather than a romantic angle. This is the story of the reality of dairy cows, and a tribute to the immense service they give us. When I look at Luma, our cow, I see the whole world through her eyes" (Andrea Arnold).
After Fish Tank (2009), Wuthering Heights (2011) and American Honey (2016), for years the English director Andrea Arnold follows a cow's life on a dairy farm.
TALK: Maite Sánchez (livestoak farmer, Domiña Abelzaintza Ekolojikoa), Ruth Toledano (journalist and activist in defence of the rights of animals)
