Ali and Ava feel how loneliness is taking over their lives. They meet through Sofia, the daughter of Ali's Slovakian tenants taken care of at school by Ava. Over a lunar month, a deep connection begins to grow between two very different people, despite the legacy of Ava's previous relationship and Ali's emotional turmoil. The whole situation is driven by their shared love of music.
