Born in Bermeo. Merchant Navy Captain and researcher into the world of the sea, especially fishing. He was the director of the Fishermen’s Museum in Bermeo for 38 years, until his retirement last year. One of his most beloved subjects is that of the Basque Auxiliary Navy, collaborating with Juan Pardo and with the Matxitxako Association on spreading knowledge of and paying homage to the history and the people who participated in said enterprise.
