“When I told my mother that a boy was hitting me in the park, she replied: that's because he likes you”. That is how this documentary starts, taking as its reference point the painting by Artemisia Gentileschi, Judith Slaying Holofernes, and telling the story of three women who survived maltreatment and abuse by their partners, whom they ended up killing. The young Finnish woman Laura used a knife, Rachel from the Netherlands, a pistol, while Rosalba in Italy poisoned the meatballs.
