Arrasate-Mondragon, 1984. Degrees in History and Audiovisual Communication from the UPV/EHU and Mondragon Unibertsitatea. In 2010 she headed to Palestine to begin her career as a freelance journalist for Berria, the magazine Argia and EITB. In 2012 she moved to Cairo, from where she broadcast the first democratic elections following the fall of the Hosni Mubarak regime. In summer 2014 she covered the offensive in Gaza. In 2016 she moved to Rome, contributing to the current affairs services of EITB and the RAI programme Nemo. Over recent years she has specialised in the issue of migration, in both the Middle East and in Europe. She is the co-director of the documentary AWLAD, spotlighting the difficulties faced by migrant children in accessing education. She has since September 2021 been the ETB correspondent in Berlin.
