Jorge Gil

Having graduated from the ECAM, specialising in scriptwriting (2004), he began his career at ETB. In 2013 he wrote and directed the documentary El método Arrieta, produced by Moriarti Produkzioak, which won the Audience Award at the San Sebastian Human Rights Film Festival. In 2014 he co-wrote the feature film Sueñan los androides, directed by Ion de Sosa and premièred at the Berlin Film Festival. He is the writer and director of the short Xinta dantza (2016), which forms part of the collective feature length Euskal Harriaren ABDak. He has worked as a screenplay consultant on feature films including Loreak, Handia and La trinchera infinita. Lecturer in scriptwriting at Larrotxene Kultur Etxea between 2008 and 2017. In 2022 he co-wrote Karpeta urdinak and Las buenas compañías.
