Having worked as a freelance camera operator for media broadcasters including Canal+, TVC and RTVE, she ventured into the world of film as an assistant on a number of productions and documentaries for national and international companies and producers. Her career then continued as director of photography on a number of productions. She was also the producer of a television programme on ETB for 4 years. In 2013 she and Alex García de Vicuña set up Marmoka Films, an independent film production company based in Bilbao. Marmoka Films develops and produces creative documentaries which have been very well received by critics and international festivals, and have been distributed internationally. Its most notable recent works include: Next Time Inshallah, Chillida Esku Huts, Gallo, El Drogas, Altsasu (Gau Hura), Daniel(a) and Tetuán.
