The exhibition 19th edition of Art and Human Rights by children and youths, from the program of the 20th Human Rights Film Festival, will be open between April 21st and 28th at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre (Okendo square).
Exhibition of drawings and murals by children and youngsters aged between 6 and 18 for the 19th edition of Art and Human Rights by Chidren and Youths, organised by the Human Rights Department of San Sebastian City Council.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. And this 19th edition has therefore taken a further step with a new initiative. We posed a number of different questions: which right is most important? Do we need any new rights? Are they fulfilled around the world? This exhibition of more than 1,700 individual and collective works offers a response to those questions. More than 2,600 people took part, at schools, haurtxokos, care homes, art academies, and individually.
The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 23 April, in the City Council Chamber.
