The Ganora Filmak association brings the One-minute Video Editing Workshop entitled My Generation, to be given by the Egyptian documentary-maker Amal Ramsis at the 11th Human Rights Film Festival. The workshop will take place from April 15th-18th 2013 at the Centre for Women and will run for 20 hours split into four 5-hour sessions. It is free of charge.
Aimed at women from any part of the world, at non-professionals females in the audiovisual field, no matter what their age, profession and country (although they should preferably be over-18), the workshop consists of practical exercises focussed on making a video to help women learn the basis of audiovisual production, so that they can apply what they have learned to create twenty 1-minute shorts on this year's subject, My Generation. The workshop is part of the Among Women Filmmakers initiative developed by the Egyptian production company Kláketa Arabe, with the backing of Drac Magic.
