The registration to be part of the Youth Jury of the 23rd Human Rights Film Festival is open
Around a hundred young people aged between 18 and 30 make up the Youth Jury, which will be awarding the Best Short Film Award at the 23rd Human Rights Film Festival (23-30 April).
Those wishing to join the Youth Jury will need to register by 26 March on the website www.donostia.eus.
As in other years, Youth Jury participants are entitled to receive credits under the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) for students at the EHU, Deusto University, and those on the Audiovisual Communication degree course at Mondragon Unibertsitatea. In addition, the members of the Youth Jury will have the chance to see the entire Festival programme free of charge.
The participants will need to attend the Victoria Eugenia Antzokia on 22 April to watch and choose the best short film. They will also be required to attend at least 80% of the 7:00/7:30 p.m. sessions at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia during the Festival.
The prize for the best short film is worth €3,000, and the Youth Jury will evaluate the feature films in accordance with criteria of raising human rights awareness, as well as their cinematographic quality.
