Luis Beltza and Álex Ubiñas are Soul Supreme, a group dedicated uniquely and exclusively to soul music.
Luis Beltza’s career revolves around Beltza Records, a San Sebastian establishment specialising in different musical genres from the 60s until today, with particular focus on all aspects of Afro-American music (soul-jazz-Latin-Brazil). In addition to his DJ work, Luis organises a variety of activities as a promoter of concerts and music festivals, record producer, etc.
Álex Ubiñas defines himself as having been a fan of listening to and collecting music “for as long as I can remember”. As a DJ, he prefers toe-tapping soul, jazz-funk and disco music. He combines this work with organising the “Soul 4 Real” project and occasional collaboration with specialist magazines.
