7th Human Rights Film Festival
SHORT FILM COMPETITION RULES � YOUTH JURY PRIZE
The Festival selection committee shall choose the competing short films. For their consideration as such, short films shall fulfil the following conditions, and shall therefore:

Have been made after 1 January 2007.
- Be no longer than 30 min.
- Be on the subject of human rights
- Be of any format, cinema and video formats will both be considered valid (16mm, 35mm, betacam, HD).
To register a short film as a candidate for the competition, you have to register your film at www.shortfilmdepot.com and submit it in our festival. A DVD copy of the work shall be sent along with the duly completed registration form before 28 February 2009.
AWARD

Participating short films shall compete for the Youth Jury Prize for the Best Short Film.
- The Youth Jury shall be appointed for the occasion by the Organisation and shall consist of youngsters of between the ages of 18 and 25.
- The Youth Jury Prize for Best Short Film carries €3,000.
- The Prize money shall be paid out at the end of the Festival and shall be paid in full to the production company responsible for the short film.
FEATURE FILM COMPETITION RULES � AUDIENCE AWARD

Participating feature films shall compete for the Audience Award to the Best Feature Film.
