Art and Human Rights22nd edition

Exhibition of drawings and murals by children and youngsters aged between 6 and 18 for the 22^nd Children's and Young People's Art and Human Rights edition organised by the Human Rights Department of San Sebastian City Council.

In this edition we invited young people to reflect on how we can guarantee care and protection for children in armed conflicts, a duty laid down in Article 38.4 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. This social guarantee, supported by every country in the world, is essential in order for the youngest members of society to enjoy all their rights. Unfortunately, there are many places around the world today where these principles are not being respected. The reflection as to this protection takes the form of more than 1,300 artworks produced by around 2,000 participants this year.

The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, 26 April, in the City Council Chamber.
