In the nineteen eighties, when the Irish troubles were at their most bloody, young Martin McGartland was recruited by the British police to infiltrate the IRA and from that moment on his life was constantly on the line. Despite the risks involved in his job and the difficulties of his daily life, he carried on because the information he provided helped to save lives. Film based on the autobiographical book written by Martin McGarland telling his story.
